Sunday Morning! Feel Like Some Etta James?

Oh, I love Sunday Mornings! Especially when I have the house to myself :) Enjoy!

Excerpt from Penguin Guide to Blues Recordings(2006)pp.307-308
"Jamesetta Hawkins grew up in LA and San Franscisco, sang in a church choir and made a rowdy debut as a 16-year-old with 'Roll With Me Henry.' Moving from Modern to Chess in 1960, she recorded R&B, pop and soul and had several hits like 'All I Could Do Was Cry,'but for part of the 80's her career was hindered by drug problems. Since then, however, she has reclaimed her position in the front rank of soul-blues singers. Her recording of 'I Just Want To Make Love To You' was a surprise hit in the UK in 1995."

I guess I have been lacking with this blog some. It's frustrating me to no end right now. I can't get the sound to play for me and mozilla 3. I have tried everything I can think of, even changing to another template. firefox is just not recognizing the site as legitimate. pisser, i know. i guess if i want to listen to my own site I'll have to use explorer. :( Anyway I've been so busy trying to figure that out it never occurred to me that I might have comments!!! Sorry I haven't answered, guys! Thanks Fitz, I think you must be the only one that has ever said you like the player...and I worked endless hours on it and probably won't stop until they make me, then i'll just start another one :)
Stephen, thanks for the visit! I travel around the blogosphere looking for something to read and most just bore me to death...my kids ate road kill today, hubby's out of town, wtf about teenagers...yada, yada, yada...it is so refreshing to run across a blog such as yours, that speaks to my soul. I almost never found the subscribe button and do you have comments disabled? That's pretty funny. I don't think I have ever run across a blogger that did that. I love it, but it is frustrating...I like to comment but it is probably for my ego so don't worry about it. Have a good one :)
